What is Nervous System Regulation?

The ANS, the Autonomic Nervous System, serves our bodies by keeping us safe at all times. When we encounter a dangerous or life-threatening situation, our nervous system steps into fight or flight, and sometimes into freeze - an immobility state. When our systems do not discharge the energy of this danger, we can often get stuck in these states, depleting our body and causing a maladaptive stress response in our brains, resulting in symptoms of trauma.

When we actively self-regulate, we are able to return to a state of calm, of rest and digest.

How does it work?

Personalized sessions are designed to enhance the capacity of your nervous system to handle stress and process emotions effectively, thereby facilitating self-healing.

Using exercises developed to regulate your ANS, the Autonomic Nervous System, you will experience:

  • An understanding of your nervous system state 

  • Somatic Awareness

  • Vagus Nerve Toning

  • Improve emotional processsing

  • Somatic Movement and Presence practices

  • Breath Work

  • Implementation of daily brain-body neuro retraining practices
